I live in Denver and have done this interpretation of the downtown Denver skyline in gouache with pen and ink. Downtown Denver is fairly small and there are neighborhoods with some highrises, but alot of houses surrounding it. This is a view from the Museum of Nature and Science in City Park.
Skyline
I tried to capture the spirit of downtown Denver in this piece and provide some illustration as to what some of the elements of the composition are. Skiing is popular in Colorado and Denver, so I added the smaller figures in the park doing cross country.
