I graduated from The Glassell School of Art in 2023 with a concentration in painting. The two pieces I am showing are two pieces that pointed me to the path toward my next body of work. I want to explore female erotic power as seen through a cinematic lens, using giant collages with, I think, faces depicted in R&F oil sticks on, at least at times, R&F Pigment Stick grounds.

Pedicure

This giant collage celebrates the revelatory personal experience of humble feet as beautiful after receiving a brand new pedicure.

Abstract artwork of two marbled limbs with feet, one in deep blue and the other in swirling pink, set against a patchwork background.

Guston Legs

This giant piece was inspired by filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard's famous opening sequence in his film "Contempt," which starred the iconic Brigitte Bardot.

Abstract silhouette of a reclining figure, composed of various reddish and beige rectangular patches with a collage effect.
