Sarah Lawrence College’s Summer International Programs give students the opportunity to spend a meaningful and life-changing summer immersed in a unique study abroad experience.

Summer Arts in Berlin, Germany

Summer Arts in Berlin, Germany

In this program, students engage with Berlin and its well-earned reputation as a city for the arts. They learn about modern German history through literature and creative writing, German language or art-making, and study of visual arts and architecture.

The Berlin Biennale opens in June of 2020. During guided and non-guided time, students can explore the latest trends in modern art as the city becomes a gallery for events, installations, and certainly provokes discussion. And we’ll be heading to Leipzig for a night where we will catch a performance at the world renowned BachFest (Bach Festival) as well as spending time touring this medieval yet thoroughly modern city in the former East.

Summer in Florence, Italy
