Exchange Programs

Study with Partner Institutions through the Sarah Lawrence Exchange Program

Sarah Lawrence students can spend a semester studying with an exchange partner in the US or abroad, depending on program availability. Students are not permitted to attend the exchange programs for an academic year.

Exchange Program Details

  • To qualify, students must be in good academic standing and have completed their first and second year at Sarah Lawrence.
  • Students must also plan to complete either their junior or senior year in Bronxville.
  • Exchange programs are not open to students who have transferred into Sarah Lawrence College with a maximum of 60 credits.
  • Students pay Sarah Lawrence tuition and fees; any financial aid, grants, and loans are applied to those fees.
  • Where applicable, the institution the student attends determines room-and-board charges, and the student pays charges directly to the institution. Students must adhere to the policies set by the host institution and are responsible for all fees associated with enrollment on the program. This includes any charges associated with withdrawal after posted deadlines.

Exchange places are limited, so students should contact Christopher Olson for further information and to receive an application.
