Making the decision to continue your education is an important one, and with it comes a myriad of thoughts and questions. As such, we invite you to join Grad administrators and current SLC graduate students for one of these live Ask Us Anything Zoom sessions to learn more about the Sarah Lawrence College experience and get answers to all the lingering questions we know you have.

Benjamin Perks works for the UN in New York, campaigning on human rights and child development. He is a leading global advocate on issues related to child poverty, education, mental health, early childhood development, and prevention of violence against children. He is a Senior Fellow at the Jubilee Centre at the University of Birmingham in the UK and an associate member of the department of Social Policy and innovation at the University of Oxford.

Writing
MFA Writing Admitted Students Reception & Faculty Reading

5:00–8:30 p.m.
Heimbold Visual Arts Center
Currently admitted students of the MFA Writing Program and their guests are welcome to visit Sarah Lawrence for tours of the campus, a reception with celebratory bites and beverages, and a reading by MFA faculty members.
Tours will take off from the Heimbold Visual Arts Center Atrium at 5:00 and 5:15 PM and return at 6:00 PM for the reception. This will be a wonderful opportunity for recently admitted students to get acquainted with the campus, and to meet and ask questions of current students and graduate faculty. MFA Director Paige Ackerson-Kiely and MFA Assistant Director Maddie Mori will also be on hand to greet all and answer any questions. Then around 7:15 PM, we will move to the Donnelley Theatre for a reading by MFA Writing faculty members, introduced by their graduate students.
Current MFA Writing students and faculty are highly encouraged to join for the reception and reading, and to meet their future classmates and peers.
