Being a part of the Sarah Lawrence community means more than just earning a degree. You will also join a diverse group of more than 300 scholars of all ages from all parts of the United States and from countries across the globe. Your time here among your peers will be punctuated with moments of quiet community and celebrations of milestones.
We warmly welcome you to join your fellow graduate students outside of the classroom either with your program, Graduate Studies, or the entire Sarah Lawrence campus. Find your place here. Friends from graduate school later become colleagues. The graduate program actively encourages students to meet and participate in cross-program opportunities through events such as lectures, readings, performances, and cross-curriculum workshops.
If you are interested in leadership positions, you can join the Graduate Student Association or become an elected representative on several college-wide committees.
