The alumni community provides excellent opportunities for professional networking. Our alumni networking resources include SLC Connect, an alumni LinkedIn group, regional and class-specific Facebook groups, networking events, professional development webinars, and volunteer opportunities.

Connect with Sarah Lawrence Students and Alumni

Alumni can continue their involvement with the college and support current students & fellow alumni by sharing internship and job opportunities, providing career advice and participating in programs and networking events.

Join SLC Connect

SLC Connect helps alumni and students make professional connections within the SLC community. When you join, you will be able to:

  • Search and connect with members of the SLC community
  • Customize involvement levels and fully manage your time commitment
  • Search for job opportunities shared by alumni
  • Join discussion groups to connect around shared interests and identities

Create your account, complete your profile, join affinity groups and explore the opportunities for mentoring and networking!

Post an Internship or Entry-Level Job

Alumni can support our students and fellow alumni by posting internships, entry-level positions, fellowships, short-term projects, and volunteer opportunities with the offices of Career Services and Alumni Relations. Alumni can share their opportunity directly on SLC Connect or by completing the Share an Opportunity form.

Share a Job for Seasoned Alumni

If you have a job opening suitable for more seasoned alumni, please log-in or create an account on SLC Connect. If you have questions about this process, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alum@sarahlawrence.edu.

Provide Career Advice

Volunteer to provide career advice to students and alumni in your industry. Check off industries in which you are willing to give advice in SLC Connect, or email the Office of Alumni Relations.

Host an Employer Site Visit

Typically hosted by Sarah Lawrence College alumni, employer site visits give students a glimpse into a career or field of interest. Site visits include the employer's overview of the organization, information about career and internship opportunities, a tour of the workplace, and a chance for students to network onsite with professionals.

If you are interested in hosting a small group of students at your business, contact the Office of Career Services via e-mail.
