Sarah Lawrence Activities Council (SLAC)

The Sarah Lawrence Activities Council (SLAC) is a student-run organization of volunteers that coordinates and plans a full calendar of campus events, including concerts, comedy nights, dances, and open mic nights.

SLAC aims to host events that appeal to the diverse interests of the student body and many events include student performances.

Event Series

SLAC Cinema

The SLAC Cinema Series is more than your average film club. Every week for the entire semester, SLAC’s resident movie connoisseurs select and screen a hit film on campus.

Game Night

Try your hand at Trivia Tuesdays, bingo, or a Scrabble tournament. No matter your game of choice, Game Night will have something for you!

Open Mic

The SLAC Open Mic Series showcases the best talent out there: Sarah Lawrence talent! If you love open mic nights or have an affinity for MC-ing, this is the series for you.

The brains behind this series are tasked with maintaining and enhancing Sarah Lawrence’s storied traditions. These traditions include Midnight Breakfasts, Casino Night, Winter Carnival, the Annual Sarah Lawrence Spelling Bee, and many more.

Dance Parties

SLAC’s Dance Parties Series is dedicated to one thing and one thing only: non-stop dance in the Campus Center.

The SLAC Etc. Series is the place for brand-new events, created by you. Want to have a tie-dye party? Freeze tag tournament? If you can dream it, the Etc. Series will help you do it.
