The rules that govern life at Sarah Lawrence College are designed to protect each individual’s physical, intellectual, psychological, social, and emotional well-being and to enable people to live and work together with minimal conflict and maximum personal freedom.
Overview Of the Conduct Process
This conduct process will be used for all violations of nonacademic College policies, with the exception of the Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Policy.
Sanctions
Sanctions are assessed in response to the specific violation(s) and prior conduct history of the student and in keeping with the policies and procedures noted in this handbook.
Appeals
A student wishing to appeal the outcome of a conduct hearing should submit the conduct appeal form on Maxient within two business days of the issuance of the outcome letter.
