Responsibility for the care of the Sarah Lawrence community is shared by all of its constituents, including students, faculty, and staff. As members of the community, students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner aligned with the Principles for Mutual Respect, a central tenet of the institution. Additionally, students are expected to abide by the policies found in this handbook and in the Student Housing License Agreement, where applicable.
Students who fail to comply with College policies may be subject to disciplinary action by the College and, where applicable, may face action by federal, state, and/or local authorities.
