Recorded Sessions

What is Dance/Movement Therapy and is it Right for You?

This recorded information session (held virtually this past September) is intended for those wishing to explore the field of dance/movement therapy as a possible career pathway. As one of six programs in the country approved by the ADTA to provide Master's level training in Dance/Movement Therapy, we will introduce you to the ways in which dance/movement therapists address the emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual health of individuals by harnessing the power of dance and movement. You will learn about the emerging field of dance/movement therapy and the various employment opportunities available to registered dance/movement therapists. We will provide suggestions on experiences that you can pursue now that would be helpful for a future dance/movement therapist and strengthen your application to dance/movement therapy programs. Watch now. (Passcode: UtQ10^#3)
