I was a printmaker at SLC and ended up as an elementary school art teacher in NYC for 26 years. I started quilting during the pandemic and am currently following that passion daily.
Wagers in Black and White
A fellow quilter, Carol Wagers, gifted me a pile of small black and white scraps, when she moved out of state a few years ago. I wanted to challenge myself to use only those scraps in a piece. I started by constructing 63 identical blocks that consisted of three different tones. Then I arranged them into a maze-like composition.
