Meal Plans are required for all residential students. The College has guidelines for meal plan exemptions which are only issued when AVI Fresh cannot accommodate a student’s prescribed diet as ordered by the students treating provider. Requests for meal plan accommodations require a current diagnosis and related prescribed diet, with supporting documentation from the treating provider. Once a diagnosis has been confirmed, Health & Wellness directors will liaise with Food Services to determine appropriate measures. Food Services is committed to accommodating health-related dietary needs and works diligently to ensure strict food preparation standards. In most cases, Food Services is able to fully accommodate prescribed dietary restrictions. Contact Health & Wellness for further information.
