Jasper emphasizes staying true to your artistic voice, letting your work evolve naturally, finding inspiration through collaboration, and navigating the challenges of an artistic career with resilience and honesty.

What were the strengths of this conversation?

The questions students asked were unique and specific to Jasper and his work. As a result, the conversation was very genuine and inspiring, highlighting Jasper’s honesty about his career path, his creative growth, and the importance of community and authenticity in artistic work. He highlighted his hands-on experiences and his dynamic with mentors at Sarah Lawrence in his career path.
