Good morning.
Thank you, Dr. Murthy, for joining us today; and thank you Cristle, Provost Singh, family, and friends for celebrating with us.
My name is Kristina Inman. I am graduating today from the Human Genetics program and I’m privileged to stand before you today as a representative of the Graduate Student Association and graduate representative to the General Committee.
Some of today’s new graduates will recognize me from events around campus. Thanks to all of you for being super rad and making those events so fun.
I have loved being part of this community. Sarah Lawrence students are curious and creative people. We share values around using our knowledge and talents to make a positive impact on the world around us.
It can take immense amounts of energy, compassion, and courage to act on those values, and I know we have all grown in that regard during our time here. So, please tend to that spark and feel empowered by it.
I am so excited to see what the future holds for us!
Thank you to our many faculty, mentors, and SLC administration for supporting our growth and believing in us. To our friends and family, your support means the world.
Thank you and congratulations to the class of 2024!
