Alerts for Students, Faculty, and Staff
Sarah Lawrence College uses Rave Mobile Safety for its emergency notification system. Rave is one of the largest and most respected providers of emergency alert systems to colleges throughout the United States. Rave Mobile Safety is able to deliver messages to your Sarah Lawrence e-mail address and your cell phone.
All students, staff, and faculty are automatically placed into the system (provided that Information Technology Services has your cell phone number) and do not need to manually input their data.
Please e-mail Matthew Brewster, Associate Director of Campus Safety, at mbrewster@sarahlawrence.edu if any of the following apply to you:
- You want to opt out of the system
- You are presently not in the system, but would like to join
- You would like to change any of your data in the system
Alerts for Visitors & Vendors
Visitors, vendors, and summer program participants can temporarily join the Rave Mobile Safety alert system by texting into it. Once joined, they will receive alert messages for up to 90 days. It is possible for these guests to leave the alert system prior to 90 days and to extend their alerts for an additional 90 days. Any visitors to the College who wish to temporarily receive alert messages should follow the steps below.

Text SLCALERT (one word, not case sensitive) to 67283 to receive alerts from the Sarah Lawrence College Emergency Alert System.
