Visit with Sarah Lawrence College

Sarah Lawrence is all about one-on-one conversation and learning from primary sources. We take the same approach in the Admission Office. Whether on campus or on the road, we hope to meet you soon!

On Campus

Campus Tours & Information Sessions

Visiting campus is one of the best ways to experience life as a Sarah Lawrence student. We offer visits—which include a short information session followed by a student-led walking tour of campus—on weekdays throughout the year, plus Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. Optional on-campus interviews are also available for transfer students and high school seniors.

Campus is located in beautiful Bronxville, NY, which is about thirty minutes north of Midtown Manhattan. Visits usually take about two hours.

Large Group Visits

If you are a high school guidance counselor or a program organizer who works with high school students and wish to bring a group of students to visit and tour Sarah Lawrence College, please fill out the Large Group Visit form. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at 914.395.2510 or

Throughout the year, we can accommodate groups of juniors and seniors in high school; at certain times of the year we can accommodate younger groups as well.

Admission Interviews

Personal interviews are not a required part of the Sarah Lawrence application process, but they can provide an opportunity for students to talk individually with an admission representative to learn more about the College. Interviews—conducted by current seniors or admission staff—are an opportunity to ask the questions you want to ask, to meet personally with someone who knows the College well, and to get a sense of how your needs and interests would be met by Sarah Lawrence.
