Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and New York Times senior political correspondent Maggie Haberman '96 is at the center of the national political conversation with the publication of her new book, Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump, co-authored with fellow New York Times White House correspondent Jonathan Swan.

Released in late June, Regime Change draws on extensive interviews and reporting to shed light on the first year of Donald Trump's second presidential term. It has quickly become a bestseller, earning favorable reviews and prompting a wave of high-profile media appearances for Haberman and Swan, including CBS Mornings, PBS NewsHour, The View, and The Daily Show

Returning to Sarah Lawrence as Commencement speaker in 2019, Haberman reflected on the role the College played in her own path, crediting her education with teaching her "the importance of patience, of assuming good faith in others, and of finding the truth."
