Join Sarah Lawrence VOX and Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic as we celebrate the 44th anniversary of Roe v. Wade with a special screening of Abortion: Stories Women Tell. Abortion: Stories Women Tell offers an intimate window into the lives of these women through personal stories. Award-winning director and Missouri native Tracy Droz Tragos sheds new light on the contentious issue with a focus not on the debate, but rather on the women themselves—those with unplanned pregnancies, the providers who show up at clinics to give medical care, as well as the activists on both sides of the issues hoping to sway decisions and lives. You'll also have the chance to share your own story of why Planned Parenthood matters to you. This event is free for Sarah Lawrence students, faculty, and staff, but registration is required.
