97th Commencement

Sarah Lawrence College held its 97th Commencement on Friday, May 9, 2025, under a tent on the South Lawn in the shadow of Westlands. A joyful crowd of parents, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the Class of 2025’s bachelor's candidates and master's students. Fashion icon Sam Edelman '73 delivered the keynote address, and pioneering choreographer and dancer Lucinda Childs '62 was awarded an honorary degree.

Graduate Hooding

As part of its 97th Commencement exercises, Sarah Lawrence College held a Graduate Hooding ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in the Barbara Walters Campus Center to celebrate the master's class of 2025.
