FAQs
-
Yes, you can! In the green room, stage right. BUT there is gear moving in and out of there all day for the show, so please put it in the back, out of the way. This is also the place for your valuables during the show.
-
You are guaranteed one number (one song, dance, monologue, etc...). Depending on the number of acts and the director's discretion there may be time for a second number. If you wish to be considered for a second number should time allow please bring sheet music for a second song.
-
No. But you’re a performer, so you knew that.
-
We won't have time to tweak arrangements and set cues at dress rehearsal; we will do starts and stops only for cueing confirmation purposes, and focus on the closing number and the bows.
-
15-minute slots between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
-
Wear whatever you like, balancing your comfort/formality/flash thresholds. A suit, jeans, a feather boa, or some combination are perfectly fine. Please make sure you have all of your clothes, makeup, and accessories with you, as there is no costume, makeup, or props team.
-
You can dress wherever you like; the dressing room for the Workshop/Cannon Theatre is convenient, since there are lighted mirrors there and in the nearby restrooms, and from there you can walk underground to the short staircase up to Reisinger. You can warm up wherever you like. Workshop/Cannon, has a piano and is convenient to Reisinger right across the patio. Dancers will find the Small Studio useful. (Please follow the rules for shoes.)
-
All performers will sit on stage at small cocktail tables as though you are in a nightclub. Director Lauren Reinhard will serve as the emcee for the evening, introducing each performer with their name, class year, and what they will be performing.
-
There will be carafes of water on the table.
-
All performers will sing a big group number, bow, and go enjoy The Princess Bride!
