Annual Fee (2026): $175 per person

Key Bronze member benefits:

• 60% off regular Extension courses, lectures, and workshops. 
  Regular Extension courses are typically six weeks each (two hours/week) and are offered in six sessions throughout the year. They are typically lecture + discussion/Q&A format.
  The regular tuition for each six-week regular Extension course is $480. The tuition for members of the Signature Learning Community is therefore only $192 (a savings of $288 per course). 
• On-Demand recorded Extension courses.
  Reasonably priced, attend-on-demand recorded online courses.
• Ability to audit undergraduate courses for $2,300*
  A unique opportunity to attend Sarah Lawrence’s regular courses and learn alongside our undergraduate students without the stress of assignments.
  The regular tuition at Sarah Lawrence College is $6,963 for a three-credit course and $11,605 for a five-credit course. The reduced tuition represents a saving of 70+% of regular tuition.

  Courses are offered through Sarah Lawrence’s prestigious Writing Institute throughout the year. Length of courses and tuition varies.  Check the Writing Institute’s website for current course offerings.  Note that these member prices cannot be combined with any other offer and the discounts do not apply to 12-week advanced classes.

  The regular tuition for each six-week regular Extension course is $480. The tuition for members of the Signature Learning Community is therefore only $120 (a saving of $360/course).
• 10% off Extension studio courses and conversation classes.
  Courses are typically six weeks each (two hours/week) and are offered in six sessions throughout the year. Class sizes are small to allow for maximum participation and personal feedback.
• Priority reservations for Extension courses.
  Some classes may sell out. Gold members receive priority access to all Extension classes and are therefore less likely to miss out on a space in a popular class. Note that if a class fills entirely with Gold and Platinum members, priority will first be given to Platinum members and then based on time of registration for the class. Does not apply to Writing Institute courses or free events.
• 10% off Writing Institute courses.
  Courses are offered through Sarah Lawrence’s prestigious Writing Institute throughout the year.  Length of courses and tuition varies. Check the Writing Institute’s website for current course offerings. Note that these member prices cannot be combined with any other offer and the discounts do not apply to 12-week advanced classes.

• Priority booking for Member & Alumni Field Trips and Study Trips.
  Gold members receive priority booking for field trips to New York City and Westchester destinations, and multi-day, faculty-led study trips to domestic destinations.
• 10% discount on swimming pool access.
  Gold members receive a 10% discount off the community price to use the College’s six-lane, 25-yard swimming pool. Access is during community hours, which are typically weekdays from 9–11am. Community membership is available for fall, spring, and summer semesters (separately). Access hours are subject to change.
  Also includes 10% off aqua aerobics (senior swim sessions).
• Private reception twice yearly.
  Gold and platinum members are invited to attend a free private member reception twice a year. Faculty teaching Extension courses are also invited.
