98th Commencement

Sarah Lawrence College held its 98th Commencement on Friday, May 8, 2026, under a tent on the South Lawn in the shadow of Westlands. A joyful crowd of parents, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the Class of 2026’s bachelor's candidates and master's students. Emmy-winning showrunner, director, and novelist Noah Hawley '89 delivered the keynote address, and New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins was awarded an honorary degree.

Graduate Hooding

As part of its 98th Commencement exercises, Sarah Lawrence College held a Graduate Hooding ceremony on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in the Barbara Walters Campus Center to celebrate the master's class of 2026.
