Devin Kelly MFA ’15 has published his debut novel, Pilgrims (Great Place Books), a story of two brothers whose paths unfold across the Appalachian Trail. The novel explores themes of abandonment, intimacy, and faith in a world driven by speed and material success. Devin is a high school teacher in New York City. He writes the newsletter Ordinary Plots, and his work has appeared in The Guardian, Longreads, LitHub, The Year's Best Sportswriting,and more.
