Steven Keiles MS ’87, a graduate of the College’s Joan H. Marks Graduate Program in Human Genetics, was honored with the Natalie Weissberger Paul National Achievement Award at the 2025 National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) Annual Conference. The award is the most distinguished honor presented by the NSGC.
Since his graduation from the program in 1987, Steven has been at the forefront of genetic counseling, driving and shaping the future of the field through his excellence in care, leadership, and foresight. He currently serves as General Manager and Executive Director, US Specialty Genetics and Genomic Services at Quest Diagnostics. With a wealth of knowledge centered in genomic medicine and molecular diagnostics and a drive to scale and improve access to genomic services, Steven has made significant contributions to genetic counseling, recognizing and championing the value of genetic counselors from clinical care to the laboratory and beyond.
