On September 16, Mahreen Sohail MFA ’13 released her debut story collection, Small Scale Sinners. Across twelve stories, Sohail explores the question: What does it mean to be good?
Born in Islamabad, Pakistan, Sohail studied at Sarah Lawrence as a Fulbright Scholar. She was a Writing Fellow at A Public Space and a Charles Pick Fellow at the University of East Anglia. Her work has appeared in Granta, The Kenyon Review, Pushcart Prize XLII, and more.
