Writing Faculty Member Marie Howe Wins Pulitzer Prize for Poetry

Writing faculty member Marie Howe has won the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for her work, New and Selected Poems. A member of the Sarah Lawrence faculty since 1993, Howe is a former New York State Poet Laureate who has received grants and awards from the Guggenheim Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Bunting Institute at Radcliffe/Harvard, and The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
