Stereophonic, the Broadway play by David Adjmi '95, won five Tony Awards during a ceremony held on June 16, 2024, including Best Play. In May Stereophonic became the most-nominated play in Tony Awards history, with 13 nominations.
In other Tony news, Appropriate, co-produced by alumnus J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Live production company, won the award for Best Revival of a Play. Bray Poor '89 was nominated for Best Sound Design of a Play for his work on Appropriate.
