Storm Lake, Directed and Produced by Filmmaking and Moving Image Arts faculty member Beth Levison, has been nominated for a Peabody Award in the Documentary category. The film chronicles the family who runs The Storm Lake Times in Iowa as they fight to keep local journalism alive. Levison, who joined the faculty this year and teaches a course titled Producing for Film and Television, is an Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker and the founder of Hazel Pictures, LLC.
