The results of the 2016 US Presidential elections have grave implications at the global, national, and local levels for a wide range of issues and people. As the beginning of an ongoing, campus-wide discussion regarding the impacts of the new administration’s policies, this Teach-In will focus on a wide range of topics by bringing together scholars and activists who will discuss labor and class, immigration and borders, economic policy, the environment, healthcare, foreign policy, the role of the mass media, unions, and the ongoing refugee crisis. We will also explore the challenges and scope for policy and political alternatives as a response to the potentially deep crisis we all confront.
