Friends of Sarah Lawrence College

Sarah Lawrence deeply values its relationship with its community and is committed to its engaging with its neighbors and friends in Bronxville, Yonkers, and throughout Westchester County. Through invitations to campus programs, a series of events unique to Friends, and regular communication, the College endeavors to keep its Friends informed and involved in the intellectual life and cultural offerings of the College, as well as issues of mutual interest. Sarah Lawrence also believes that the communities that surround Sarah Lawrence College—the villages, towns, and cities of Westchester County, New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the greater New York metropolitan area—are vital assets for the students, faculty, and staff of the College. Sarah Lawrence serves our neighboring communities in a variety of ways—our students, faculty, and staff are actively engaged with schools, advocacy, service, and arts organizations, and local businesses.
