Finding Aids
Finding aids are guides to archival collections. Typically, finding aids provide a listing of folder titles in a collection to help researchers narrow down their search. Often, they also provide valuable information about a collection or the office, person, or organization the collection is about. This may include where the documents came from, historical or biographical information about the office or person, or a note describing the scope of the collection.
Finding aids are searchable by title of the collection, subject, and personal or institutional name.
