My hands guide me to be present and mindful. Through touch and haptic awareness, intuition directs my exploration of color and design. Years of painting, drawing, and collage have laid the groundwork for stitching, felting, and mending. These mindful, meditative practices provide me solace.

One of my first teachers encouraged me to paint small watercolors as studies for larger works. This way of working has remained a consistent practice for me for over 40 years. The scale varies and most are quite small, between 4 and 16 inches, but each is a window into my imagination.
