Welcome, Class of 2025!

Congratulations! I'm so happy to welcome you to Sarah Lawrence College.

This was a year like no other, and our applicant pool was no different. The Class of 2025 is brimming with fantastic, thoughtful students who represent the best of SLC. The incoming class is creative, curious, and eager to connect their passions, and though most of them haven’t been able to physically visit campus, it was remarkably easy to picture them here in Bronxville. This class showed also showed true commitment to their communities: they registered new voters, spoke up about injustice, published poetry and op-eds, and volunteered everywhere from food banks to fundraisers for first responders.

At Sarah Lawrence, even the Admission Office approaches their work seminar-style: lots of discussion, lots of reading, lots of talking about the reading… So I can say with absolute authority that this year’s admitted class is truly unique and comprises so many different and exciting perspectives, backgrounds, interests, and talents. I can’t wait for you to get to know each other.
