Wrexham Road Reading Series

The Writing Institute's Wrexham Road Reading Series brings together writers from within and outside the Sarah Lawrence College community to share their work. Our intent is to engage the widest spectrum possible of the literary community we're fortunate to both support and be supported by. This year our series is focused on "Difference in Dialogue," the theme of Sarah Lawrence College President Cristle Judd's ongoing campus conversation. Past readings have included “Persisting in this Time of Political Resistance” and future events are planned to highlight authors and issues that are timely, critical, and thought worthy.

Guest readers have included authors Christina Adams, Bethany Ball, DeMisty D. Bellinger, Leland Cheuk, Sonya Chung, Sayantani DasGupta, Melissa Faliveno, Elijah Nealy, and Ines Rodrigues among others. We are honored to have such an esteemed group of writers at these unique Writing Institute events and we look forward to continuing to offer a wide range of themes on current trends and issues in our world.

We hope you will attend our events and encourage you to participate, ask questions, and join in our discussion!
