Summer students connect their passions with the wider world and see firsthand how their endeavors improve our community.

They work closely with top professors, getting real-time feedback, which keeps them plugged into the latest industry trends. As part of a dynamic online community, they will explore, share, and learn together through engaging and experiential curricula.

Designed to give high school students an immersive experience into Sarah Lawrence College's pedagogy, this program provides students theoretical, historical, and present-day perspectives on social and cultural issues involving class, gender, sexuality, and race.

This summer, become immersed in the craft of creative writing. Students participate in a fiction workshop and a poetry workshop led by members and guests of Sarah Lawrence’s celebrated writing faculty.

Filmmaker's Week

Offering weekday or weekend options, this one week/weekend course is an in-depth study of the filmmaking process from script to screen. With more hands-on opportunities and take-home assignments, students will gain a better understanding of critical craft elements necessary for the success of any project.
