Summer Precollege Visual Arts Program 

July 20 - August 7, 2026

From Drawing to Painting to Experimentation is an intensive summer college art program for rising juniors and seniors in high school that features a college-level curriculum led by active artist–faculty in modern studio spaces.

Writers’ Week

For more than 25 years this program has offered high school students an immersive week-long experience with creative writing and the performance arts.

Hudson River Ecology Course 

July 20-24, 2026

A one-week, early undergraduate college-level course targeted for rising high school juniors and seniors and undergraduate students who are interested in learning more about the river ecologyStudents have the option of taking this course for one transferable college credit.

The Writing Institute 

For 40 years, The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College has been a welcoming home for writers at all stages who value creativity and community as part of their lives. Virtual and on campus classes and workshops include classes for beginners, advanced prose and poetry workshops, teen programs, and publishing seminars.
