ARTnews Calls Jonathan González "the Performance Artist of the Moment"
Jonathan González MFA ‘15, a graduate of Sarah Lawrence’s MFA in Dance program, was recently featured in an ARTnews piece titled, “How Jonathan González Became the Performance Artist of the Moment.” The article describes the debut of González's magic hour–golden time at this year's Whitney Biennial and looks ahead to the opening of a new commission at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie International, noting that González is the only artist showing work in the two top recurring art exhibitions in the U.S. this year.
