E Pluribus UnumHuman rights activist Joyce Horman presents, Missing.

Missing (U.S., 1982, 2 hr, 2min) is one of Costa-Gavras’ best-known political thrillers. It is a historical re-telling of the abduction and murder of the American filmmaker and journalist Charles Horman during the U.S.-backed coup of the democratically-elected president of Chile, Salvador Allende.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Joyce Horman, founder of the Charles Horman Truth Foundation; Margarita Fajardo, the Alice Stone Ilchman Chair in Comparative and International Studies; and Sally Shafto, Film History Guest Faculty.
