Nelly Reifler on the Craft of Fiction

Barbara Walters Campus Center Room B

Open to the public

/ Thursday

2:00pm-3:00pm

Using sources such as the history of medicine, phrenology, the work of Henry Darger, Star Trek, and her own autobiography, author and Sarah Lawrence faculty member Nelly Reifler will explore multitudinous realities. She'll ask participants to consider the nature of realism, examine themselves as cultural artifacts, and begin to figure out what it all means for their writing. Attendees are asked to bring a pen and paper.
