Margo Jefferson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning arts critic. She has written two books: On Michael Jackson (2005) and Negroland: A Memoir (2015). Negroland received the National Book Critics Circle Award for autobigraphy, the Heartland Prize, and the Bridge International Prize. It was also shortlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize.
