For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, DAPS CommuniTea is partnering with It’s on Us for their Week of Action. The purpose of the Intersectional Survivors’ Panel is to bring people of varying identities together to discuss how another identity of theirs (either sexuality, gender, religion, race, disability, etc.) has intersected with being a survivor. Each panelist would belong to a different identity group in which they could speak to so that students can get a grasp of some of the many experiences that exist with being a survivor of sexual violence.
