Do You Hear What I Hear? is documentary about Stephanie's sister Allison, who was deafened by meningitis at age 3, and her decision to get a cochlear implant 38 years later.
After screening the documentary, Stephanie (director/producer) and writing faculty member Jo Ann Beard will discuss the process of writing a nonfiction narrative for the screen, the complications of working with family, and the not-always-creative aspects of getting a film made. This will be followed by questions from the audience.
