Access and Equity in Education: Stories from Yonkers, Bronxville, Mt. Vernon and the Bronx

Virtual Web

Open to the public

/ Thursday

7:00pm-8:30pm

Join our panelists as they talk about their experiences growing up in Yonkers, Mt. Vernon, Bronxville and the Bronx. Through stories, they will share the challenges and opportunities they had in school and in their communities. We hope these stories will broadly illuminate access and equity in education, and what helped each panel member to pursue their current path.

Panelists:

Alexa Shephard, senior at Syracuse University; Chair of Diversity and Inclusion of the Syracuse Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity

D’Andre Grant, Interim Assistant Director of Residence Life at Sarah Lawrence College
