As President Biden takes office against the backdrop of a pandemic and recession, the new administration faces multiple challenges abroad, including from an increasingly capable, confident, and assertive China. How will the two countries engage, compete, cooperate, and manage differences to avoid conflict? Are we headed towards a new Cold War? Join Daniel Russel ‘75, Vice President, International Security and Diplomacy, at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) and former career diplomat for this year’s Adda Bozeman Lecture sponsored by the Adda Bozeman Chair in International Relations.

One of Sarah Lawrence’s most esteemed teachers and scholars, Adda Bozeman taught international relations from 1947-1977.
