Vijay Seshadri and Brian Morton ’78 come together to discuss Vijay’s new poetry collection, That Was Now, This Is Then.

Vijay Seshadri's new collection of poetry is That Was Now, This Is Then. He is also the author of 3 SectionsThe Disappearances (Harper-Collins India, 2007); The Long Meadow; and Wild Kingdom. His poems, essay, and reviews have appeared in many periodicals and anthologies, and his work has been recognized with a number of honors, including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.

Brian Morton, BA, Sarah Lawrence College. Author of five novels, including Starting Out in the Evening and Florence Gordon. He has received the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, the Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Koret Jewish Book Award for Fiction, and the Pushcart Prize and has been a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Kirkus Prize for Fiction.
