Across the Americas, Indigenous peoples have been rising up to challenge political violence, austerity measures, and environmental injustice. Current social movements led by Indigenous groups reflect enduring histories of resistance against settler colonialism that emphasize Native people's agency, rights, and sovereignty. This panel focuses on Indigenous resistance movements to understand the connections between Native American and Indigenous experience across the hemisphere.
