This lunch-time discussion will follow up on themes that were introduced in the panel discussion on Inauguration Day and in the questions and answers that followed. For those new to Dewey, we hope that our conversation will also serve as an introduction to his multifaceted body of work. Please bring thoughts, reactions, and suggestions for topics which merit further consideration over the course of the year; this lunch is intended as the first of a series of opportunities for faculty to meet and discuss the relationships between democracy and education.

This event is part of the Inaugural Year series, exploring the theme Democracy and Education. What does Democracy and Education mean to you? Share your thoughts—written or video—with us on social media using the hashtag #SLCDemocracyEducation.
