Study Abroad in Florence, Italy
(Spring 2016 only)

Live and study in the midst of Italians at work and play, as Florence and Italy become your “texts” for this extraordinary study abroad program.

The Sarah Lawrence in Florence program is based on academic, linguistic, social, and cultural immersion. Italian faculty teaches courses at the Sarah Lawrence center or in local artists’ ateliers, music studios, and laboratories. Coursework sends students to museums to observe world-renowned art; or into the streets to sketch or study the urban fabric; or to concerts, theatre, screenings and lectures within the city. The homestay connects students to Florentines and provides the opportunity to become proficient in Italian.

It is a program that will change your life in many imaginable, and unimaginable, ways.
