Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Princeton University and NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. Narinesingh (Na-Ryan-Sing) is an atmospheric physicist specializing in weather and climate. He heads the Laboratory for weather, climate, and community at Sarah Lawrence College. One particular focus of the lab is the physics of atmospheric blocking: large, persistent anticyclones in the atmosphere that can steer storms and cause heat waves and cold spells. Other interests include diversity, equity, and the inclusion of underserved communities in science. In addition to atmospheric physics, he has an extensive background in teaching and youth development within underserved communities in New York City. SLC, 2023–
